Physical description: 6'2" and 13 stone, Evan is a healthy weight and lean but muscular. He has blue eyes and blond hair. He has a scar across his right shoulderblade from a Wizard's Duel when he was 15, and the Dark Mark on his left forearm.

How do people perceive this character?: As something of a playboy, a man of expensive taste. His friends realise he is a loyal friend. Hopefully his enemies realise he is dangerous. He's seen as something of a gambler, but not a man, generally, to be trifled with. His fellow Death Eaters, however, may think somewhat differently.

What is the character's greatest fear?: Being sent to Azkaban. More specifically, being trapped in a small, spider-infested cell in Azkaban, surrounded by Dementors, while cold, dark water is rising from a grate in the floor.
What is the character's greatest passion?: The Dark Arts, particularly Dark Artefacts. He collects them, and prefers to retrieve them himself, the more dangerous the locale, the better.
What is the character's aspiration?: To marry well, distinguish himself in the Dark Lord's service, and become famous for his knowledge of Wizarding Antiquities and Dark Artefacts.

Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive):
Evan comes from a long line of Slytherins, and enjoys his role as elder son of the family. He admires his father greatly and wants to emulate him as much as possible, though he is bored by the financial aspect of the family's interests. He thrives on excitement and danger, and played Quidditch as a Chaser. He was never an exceptional athlete, and played with more enthusiasm than skill, but as Slytherin kept winning, he was never thrown off the team. He disliked most of the Hogwarts professors, though he felt a grudging respect for McGonagall. He was a Slytherin prefect, and was strict, but never cruel.

What is the character's profession?: After leaving school, he obtained an appointment to the Ministry as a very junior researcher in the Department of Mysteries, which is where he still works. He is filled with disdain for most of his coworkers, simply because he's actually been out in the field, on his own time and for his own ends. He does, however, enjoy the research.

Does the character have any special abilities? If so, what?: He speaks German, French, and Latin. He is good at curse-breaking and cursing.
Tell us three random things about your character you think we should know: He knows sixteen spells that can be used to kill spiders. He can't stand beer; when he was thirteen he sneaked several bottles of beer from his father's stash and drank himself sick. He spent the evening throwing up and has never touched beer since. When he was sixteen he brought home a Dark Artefact that made his father's owl drop dead; he never admitted it was his fault, but he's felt guilty ever since.

Patronus: He's only ever managed it twice, but it was a tiger.

Amortentia Smells: Riesling, Silk Cut, and dragonhide leather.


Mental

Quirks/Habits: He has lots of nervous energy, but it only shows when he's in a good mood. When he's frightened or angry he goes very still.
Likes: Wine, chocolate, Silk Cut (only Silk Cut), dragonhide leather, silver jewelry (protects from werewolves as well as being less flashy than gold), cats (particularly black ones), fine parchment. A secret passion for classical music, whether Muggle or Wizarding.
Dislikes: Deep water, Dementors, cheap wine, losing at cards, spiders, small spaces, having someone rummage about in his thoughts and memories, hearing people talk about his cousin Narcissa being married off to anyone but him.
Favorite Daydream: It involves his favourite cousin Narcissa and a large bed, chocolate, strawberries, white wine, and cigarettes.
Worst Nightmare: Being sent to Azkaban. More specifically, being trapped in a small cell in Azkaban, surrounded by Dementors, while water is rising from a grate in the floor.


Relationships

Parents: Timothy Alston Rosier and Evangeline Regina Wilkes
Sibling(s): A brother, Gregorius, three years younger.
Children: Oh dear Merlin, no.
Family History: His parents are old-money purebloods. There's no question that Evan and Greg will both marry pureblood women and have families of their own. Timothy has always been stern but loving with his children, and made his expectations very clear. Evan likes living up to his father's expectations, though Greg has never been quite as pliant. Narcissa is his cousin on his father's side, and they have always been fairly close friends. Evan loves her, but it's more of an idealistic love than anything. He hates to think of someone else marrying her, but he isn't entirely sure he should marry her himself.

His parents have slept in separate bedrooms since Evan's first year at school (1967) and he's never known why. They still attend functions together and put up a pretence of being in love, but Evan is certain his mother has had other lovers. He isn't so sure about his father. Both his parents are discreet, and never discuss why they apparently hate one another now. He has always hated the fact that he is named after his mother, even though his mother is named after her grandfather; the estrangement between his mother and the father he admires makes it even more difficult.

Friends: Narcissa Black, Regulus Black, Severus Snape, Rabastan Lestrange (though he'd like to consider himself a classier seducer than Bastan). He tries to stay on friendly terms with most of his fellow Death Eaters.
Enemies: Gryffindors and most Hufflepuffs, just on principal. Sirius Black, for more personal reasons.


Intimate Relationships

Marital Status: Single
Significant Other: None, though he's not averse to the idea, as long as no diamonds are involved.
Sexual Preference: Heterosexual
Sexual Experience: Plenty, but never anything tawdry. He enjoys romancing women, rather than simply tumbling them for a night or two.
Past Relationships: Nothing that lasted longer than two or three months, strictly limited to purebloods.
Relationship Goals: Eventually he'll marry a pureblood woman and have beautiful pureblooded children, but he's not quite ready for that yet.


Occupation and Recreation

Occupation: Occupation? My dear, he occupies himself reading, hunting, drinking, playing cards, and admiring pretty women.
Actually he works for the Department of Mysteries, researching hexes, jinxes, and curses. He took the job simply to have its resources at his disposal, but he's found having Ministry connections can be very helpful.
Place of Employment/Study: He reads extensively about the History of Magic and the Dark Arts, but after taking 7 NEWTs, he hasn't bothered with any further formal study.
Place of Residence: Family home is located in Derbyshire; he also keeps a flat near Diagon Alley.
Occupation Related Skills: He's excellent at cursing and curse-breaking, and enjoys duelling. He has no real taste for torture, but has no real aversion to it, either.
Hobbies, Non Occupational Skills: Reading, romancing pureblooded, (preferably rich) women, searching for Dark Artefacts. He gets a real hard-on for danger, and tends to volunteer for any risky job the Dark Lord may have. Evan thinks highly of his own physical prowess, instincts, and reflexes.
